Summary:
In addition to being a great take on the Paul Bunyan myth, I use <a href="http://bookwizard.scholastic.c... Bunyans</i></a> during author studies of both Audrey Wood and David Shannon. Students love trying to locate the states on the map. I think they view it as a treasure hunt.
Materials:
- The Bunyans by Audrey Wood
- large wall map of the United States.
- Post It notes
Goals:

Resource Instructions
Using the information on the back flap of the book jacket as a guide, work with students to place the Post-it notes on the proper states.
