- colored pencils or crayons
?Students will become familiar with color names and the seasons they're associated with.
Sort the crayons or colored pencils by color.? Be certain to have various shades available.
Read Old Bear to the whole class. Go back and talk about the colors that are associated with the different seasons in the book. Show students the photocopies of the season pages. Explain that they will be coloring the pages, using the associated colors.
?Create class books or bulletin board displays from the finished pages.
