Resource Instructions
Read the book with the students stopping to discuss the sense on the current page. Discuss all 5 sense with students after reading entire book. Give each student a piece of paper and ask them to draw a picture of their favorite sense and write the sense at the bottom of the page. Give students possible ideas before they draw such as a nose smelling a pie for smell, two eyes for sight, or an ear and music notes for hear. After students have completed their picture have students share their picture and explain the sense to the classroom. Remind students that it is okay for them to have the same sense as the others.
Assessment:
Does picture match sense written on paper?
Is the picture an acurate drawing of a sense?
Can student explain their sense choice to the class?
