This story accompanied our Community Helpers Unit. Teacher reads the story Doctor Ted to students. Discussion during the story is encouraged to allow students the opportunity to understand vocabulary and make personal connections to the story. When the story is complete the illustration page is handed out and students are instructed to create a new job for Ted. At the bottom of the page students are to write what Ted is.
