Students plan a family trip to a local amusement park. The budget is set and the prices are known. What choices will be made to fit the budget?
- Students will identify problems and define their scope and elements and evaluate the processes used in recognizing and solving problems
Present students with the Performance Task Packet and make sure they understand what they are to do. Go over the scoring guide so they know how the written product will be assessed. Prices are based on rates from the St. Louis Six Flags park, www.sixflags.com/stlouis/pricing. You can use any park's pricing for this lesson. Just change your travel allowances and budget.
